How to get personalized Prime Deal notifications on your phone

Staying informed about Amazon Prime Day deals is a lot easier if you create deal alerts and enable notifications for them on your phone.

Did you know you can set up notifications for Amazon’s upcoming Prime-exclusive event? A quick reminder from the Amazon Shopping app can help you save big on some of the hottest items.

Amazon is introducing a new shopping event for its Prime users between October 11 and October 12, called the Prime Early Access Sale. It’s a 48-hour chance to save up to 80% on some of the biggest brands.

Visit the Prime Early Access Sale Event

Finding the Prime Early Access Sale page in the Amazon Shopping app isn’t as intuitive as you might think. Upon opening the app, you should see a splash screen notifying you of the event. But you may not see any icons or options directing you there.

Don’t worry, there is an easy way to fix this. Just tap the search bar and type ‘prime day sale’. At the top of the results, you’ll see a shopping cart and some text stating the sale. Tap the shopping cart to go to the main event page.

Enable Prime Deal Alert Notifications

To enable Prime-exclusive deal alerts, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Open the Amazon Shopping app and tap the three lines icon at the bottom right.
  2. Now tap Settings > Notifications.
  3. Tap the switch below here Your viewed and waitlisted deals.

From now on you should receive a notification for every item you have notified.

Create Amazon Deal Alerts

You need to create a deal alert so that you get notifications about it on your phone. So, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Open Amazon Shopping and tap the House icon at the bottom.
  2. Tap Create deal alerts is located below the banner. If you can’t find it, try searching for “prime day sale” and tap Create deal alerts over there.
  3. You should see the Your deal notifications section followed by lists of items with Mention next to them.

Now, you’re all set. It’s worth noting that all items eligible for alerts from your recent Amazon searches and recently viewed items are listed in the Receive deal notifications section.
